Job Summary and Purpose:
We are searching for a Digital Marketer/Media Manager to help develop our social media brand voice, monitor social media material for our business, and specialize in capturing moments/taking photos, processing images, leveraging images to express stories, and ensuring they produce the intended effects.
The Digital Marketer/Media Manager will maintain our social media strategies, plan social media campaigns, and respond to community comments. You must follow our business plan and manage multiple social media profiles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create compelling social media strategy, content, and campaigns across several platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and school blog).
- Oversee daily social media operations, including engagement with followers, page updates, and responses to requests.
- Use social media to promote the institution’s services and content in line with its brand identity.
- Use numerous editing methods to enhance image quality and obtain desired effects.
- Master photography best practices and procedures, including arranging items, situations, lighting, and backgrounds to meet specifications.
- Meet deadlines by ensuring all photographs are appropriately processed, cataloged, and ready on time.
- Collaborated with graphic designer and marketing manager to create internal and external communication materials for the institution.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media campaign performance through analytics and engagement. (Facebook Insights, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and an inquiry gateway with social media influencers).
- Collaborated with all Openlabs campuses and sourced content to promote the institution, increase brand awareness, and maintain consistency.
- Implementing SEO strategies to increase online traffic. Keeping up with social media marketing trends and the latest digital technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Excellent written and spoken communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience with digital marketing and ability to analyze critically
- Time and content management
- Use and maintain contemporary and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.), demonstrate professional shooting expertise, and understand Photoshop.
- Shooting, lighting, and printing abilities.
- Understanding of the production process for online publishing and other printing applications.
- Able to manage various tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a similar profession.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
