AT Ghana is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions.

1. Head, BI & Analytics

Job Overview 

  • The selected individual will be appointed as the Head of Business Intelligence and Analytics within the Marketing Division.
  • (S)He will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be tasked with delivering prompt and comprehensive reporting analytics for all relevant stakeholders, supporting essential business decision-making, and monitoring KPI performance.
  • The chosen candidate will continually seek methods to automate and enhance existing procedures, encompassing all sources of commercial data and the dissemination of these analyses through multiple platforms.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for the quality, organization, and oversight of data and information in the organization.
  • Compile an extensive list of commercial analytics reflecting stakeholder needs, utilizing data from the downstream data mart.
  • Serve as the sole provider of commercial performance analytics within the organization by overseeing the cubes, dashboards, OLAP, and other internal data visualizations for customers.
  • Lastly, act as the SPOC with technology to guarantee that data is continually transmitted to the BI from the Data warehouse, adhering to at least n-1 schedules in line with specified commercial criteria for business performance, and incorporating new reporting needs:

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • A university diploma in any discipline with a focus on Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area.
  • At least Five (5) to Seven (7) years of professional experience in the Telecom or FMCG sectors, including a minimum of Three (3) years in a managerial role.
  • Utilize analytics to support company growth initiatives, enhancing revenue and other important business results.
  • Strong understanding of the complete lifecycle of Data Warehouse/BI, encompassing business requirement collection, ETL, data modelling, metadata, technical architecture, usability, front-end design, and deployment for end-users.

2. RF Planning and Capacity Manager

Job Overview 

  • The selected individual will take on the role of RF Planning and Capacity Manager within the Network Department.
  • (S)He will be accountable to the Head of RF Planning and Optimization.

Main Duties

  • Planning and designing the 2G/3G radio network to guarantee the deployment of the most economical technical solution.
  • Accountable for the nominal plan adhering to the coverage and capacity guidelines (selection of BTS configuration and link budget), with assistance provided by an RNO specialist.
  • Accountable for the daily design and planning of 2G/3G, IBS, Repeaters (both outdoor and indoor), Micro PICO, and TSS deliverables according to established deadlines.
  • Collaborating with Strategy, RAN, Transmission & Core groups to supply comprehensive radio specifications for the deployment of new sites, BSC, RNC enhancements.
  • Finally, analyzing traffic and planning for expansions (BSC, DCS, TRX, RNC, Channel Elements, 2nd Carrier, Code, IUB, etc.) to validate capacity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with 4 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Extremely skilled in cellular network design and operations, telecommunications principles, cellular wireless technologies, and the theory of radio access network design, with expertise in frequency/scrambling code and neighbor planning.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
