Ada Rural Bank PLC is looking for a qualified person to fill the following position: Finance Manager
Summary of Role
Be in charge of keeping, controlling, planning, and making financial and management accounts in line with standard accounting policies and procedures.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- At least a first degree from a recognized university in finance, accounting, commerce, or a similar field.
- At least Part II of the final ICA (Ghana) or ACCA certificate
- At least 7 years of experience in finance, including at least 5 years in the Financial Services/Banking industry
- Know how to use accounting software well.
Knowledge and Skills
- Local and international banking operations and regulatory frameworks, such as IFRS reporting, BASEL 2, and other international standards
- Accounting principles, procedures, financial reporting standards, and business planning methods
- Tax laws and other rules related to them
- Rules and instructions from the Bank of Ghana
- Changes and trends in the Financial Services field
- Employment Law and Practice
