A reputable Oil Marketing Company is seeking applications to employ Accountants
Responsibilities
- Management is given financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data and putting together reports.
- Compiles and analyzes account information to make entries for assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Entering account information helps keep track of financial transactions.
- Analyzes accounting options and makes suggestions for how to handle money.
- Summarizes the current financial situation by gathering information and making reports such as a balance sheet, a profit and loss statement, and others.
- Documents are checked to see if they match up with financial transactions.
- Maintains accounting controls by making policies and procedures and recommending changes to them.
- Helps the people who do the paperwork for accounting by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Finds out what went wrong with money by gathering and analyzing account information.
- Completes database backups to protect financial information.
Requirements
Note: Chartered accountants are required to apply for jobs as an auditor.
