Responsibilities

  • Management is given financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data and putting together reports.
  • Compiles and analyzes account information to make entries for assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Entering account information helps keep track of financial transactions.
  • Analyzes accounting options and makes suggestions for how to handle money.
  • Summarizes the current financial situation by gathering information and making reports such as a balance sheet, a profit and loss statement, and others.
  • Documents are checked to see if they match up with financial transactions.
  • Maintains accounting controls by making policies and procedures and recommending changes to them.
  • Helps the people who do the paperwork for accounting by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Finds out what went wrong with money by gathering and analyzing account information.
  • Completes database backups to protect financial information.

Requirements
