POSITION: Management Control and Reporting Coordinator

Role Overview

You will provide essential indicators for the company’s strategic and operational management. Consequently, you will design and produce critical reports, develop strategic budgets, analyze performance gaps, and propose actionable optimization plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your work will encompass several core missions to support informed decision making across the organization.

Oversight of the Management Control Function

Contribute to defining Advans Ghana’s strategic directions in collaboration with General Management.
Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results, providing clear recommendations for operational adjustments.
Optimize costs, ensure strict budget compliance, and implement effective dashboards and monitoring indicators.
Track the ongoing financial and operational performance of the institution.

Budget and Forecast Management

Organize the annual budgeting process, ensuring seamless coordination between all departments and divisions.
Review and consolidate departmental budgets to establish a reliable, comprehensive overall budget.
Monitor actual performance against the budget and propose necessary adjustments to General Management.

Design and Production of Reports

Design and produce accurate monthly operational reports to monitor performance and facilitate leadership decisions.
Guarantee data reliability while continuously optimizing the clarity and presentation of information.
Conduct ad hoc analytical projects and manage the performance of the management control team.

Key Performance Indicators

Your success will be measured by the quality of reporting, the accuracy of profitability analyses, budget reliability, and your forecasting ability. Furthermore, we will assess your autonomy, adherence to deadlines and procedures, and the consistent reliability of the information you provide.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Possess two to three years of professional experience in a similar management control, reporting, or financial analysis role.
Have proven exposure to data-intensive work, with strong capabilities in budget development and variance analysis.
Exhibit excellent analytical skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
