Job Duties

  • Support staff supervision, training, and performance management within the aseptic team.

  • Monitor environmental conditions to ensure safe aseptic manufacturing standards are maintained.
  • Participate in accreditation programmes and maintain continuous professional development portfolios.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for junior pharmacy staff within the department.
  • Support service improvement initiatives within oncology and aseptic pharmacy services.
  • Ensure accurate and safe dispensing and labelling practices across pharmacy operations.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council required.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Experience working in aseptic pharmacy services or oncology settings is required.
  • Knowledge of chemotherapy preparation and sterile manufacturing procedures is essential.
  • Experience supervising pharmacy staff within a clinical or aseptic environment required.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks required.
