POSITION: Speech and Language Therapist

Role Summary
The School is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our inclusive learning support team as an independent contractor.
The chosen applicant will deliver services to students from Pre-K to Grade 12, offering personalized and small-group therapy to improve speech, language, and communication skills. This is a distinct chance to be part of a varied, cooperative, and internationally-focused school community, where student welfare and education are central to all our activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The perfect candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Official license/certificate in Speech-Language Pathology
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- At least 3 years of experience engaging with children aged 3-18 in educational environments.
- Familiarity with global educational settings (preferred)
- Understanding of developmental speech and language milestones and issues.
- Experience engaging with culturally and linguistically varied communities.
- Effective communication and relational abilities.
- The capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Systematic and meticulous, with outstanding time management abilities.
- Knowledge of technology and digital tools like Google, Word documents, Excel, and AAC devices.
- Education in particular therapeutic methods (e.g., PROMPT, V&V, etc.)
