POSITION: Management Accountant

Job Purpose
Supply relevant financial data and carry out associated accounts management to support managerial planning and business decision-making. Collaborating with management to facilitate informed choices that promote future stability, growth, and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- A Management Accountant is anticipated to carry out one or more of the following responsibilities:
- Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, budgets, cash flow statements, monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and explanatory notes.
- Aid in the creation of the yearly budget and regular forecasting.
- Deliver management reports for informed decision-making, encompassing project assessment, evaluation, and post-implementation review.
- Continuous evaluation of cash flow and creation of projections
- Generate yearly statutory financial statements in the format of management accounts.
- Computation, display, and settlement of VAT
- Bargaining on large projects, financial loans, and funding.
- Oversee capital spending
- Report on company assets and debts, encompassing balance sheet account reconciliations and an evaluation of intangible assets.
- Guarantee adherence to all financial regulations.
- Supervise trainee accountants by overseeing daily interactions and encouragement, along with planning for future roles and assessing performance.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of accounting practices and processes to guarantee efficient and cost-effective operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Certified Accountant with at least 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency
- Comprehension of contemporary management information systems
- Skill to oversee, assign, inspire, track, and regulate team operations.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities that facilitate communication across all tiers with both financial and non-financial management.
- Intellectual possessing robust business insight.
