POSITION: Warehouse Clerk & Forklift Operator
Position Summary
We are a global catering firm involved in multiple sectors of the catering industry and are in search of a WAREHOUSE CLERK WITH FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE.
Position Overview
- Answering the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Scheduled work assignments that may differ and could involve weekends and holidays.
- Perform additional hours as needed.
- Get to work punctually.
- Adhere to organizational guidelines.
- Responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to, the following:
- Maintain food safety consistently.
- Distributing and sending inventory to user departments.
- Conduct inventories for all clients on the dates they have specified.
- Notify any workplace safety hazards in the industry and assist in applying strategies to remove or minimize risks.
- Storing incoming inventory, notifying about shortages and items nearing expiration.
- Inform promptly about any low inventory levels to make the required arrangements.
- Participate in daily shift meetings and carry out daily patrols.
- Maintaining a log of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Using jacks and forklifts to load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Helping to uphold the safety of the warehouse
- Organizing stocks based on clients’ distributions.
- Facilitating the reception of incoming shipments alongside Customs Officers.
- Act in alignment with the MPS
- Examine all operational tools or machinery.
- Report any defective equipment or machinery.
- Tagging objects throughout the warehouse
- Make sure all temperature control records are documented in the warehouse.
- Make certain that all hygiene standards and HACCP are adhered to in both work areas.
- Overseeing the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse every day.
- Arranging items in the designated area based on warehouse guidelines.
- Examining the inventory and documenting the damaged items.
- Conducting a daily review of the warehouse premises.
- Interacting and collaborating with different departments and clients.
- Keeping track of records, communicating pertinent details, and compiling required documents.
- Any additional tasks delegated by your supervisor
Required Skills or Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a Warehouse clerk or in a similar area.
- Must be capable of operating a forklift
