POSITION: Chief Collaboration Officer (CCO)
JOB PURPOSE
The Chief Collaboration Officer (CCO) will lead and guide important areas within the Global Centre to promote teamwork, support operations, and reduce risks. The CCO will help achieve our goal of providing a full life to vulnerable children and support our values and culture. This person will work closely with the CEO and may act on their behalf in different situations like crisis teams, strategic initiatives, and board meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acting for the CEO (30% of the time): The CCO will work closely with the President’s office and represent the CEO in various cases, including leading initiatives and representing regions.
- Strategic Leadership (20% of the time): The CCO will create long-term plans, stay updated on trends, and drive the organization’s goals. They will help ensure that all parts of the CCO portfolio work well together and support our mission, especially Our Promise 2030.
- Leadership Oversight (30% of the time): The CCO will manage key functions and guide their teams to meet plans and goals. They will help develop and support people and ensure the organization is ready for future challenges. The CCO will also ensure strong accountability and protect the organization’s resources.
- Drive Collaboration (10% of the time): The CCO will work with a variety of employees from different backgrounds to create clear communication and cooperation, helping to foster understanding and support for positive changes
- Facilitate Key Initiatives (10% of the time): The CCO will ensure that global projects are successfully implemented.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE
Education: A master’s degree is preferred in a related field.
Professional Experience:
- Strong personal commitment to World Vision’s mission and values.
- Leadership experience in global organizations for at least 15 years.
- Experience working with governance structures and boards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust.
- Experience in operations management and problem-solving.
Preferred Experience:
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
- Resilience and ability to model well-being.
Languages: Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
