POSITION: Senior Audit Officer
We seek proactive and results-driven individuals to support audit processes, ensuring that internal controls function as intended and that corporate policies and procedures are followed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Confirm that purchases are conducted in line with company policies and procedures.
- Examine, document, and communicate irregularities in the disbursement procedure.
- Performing audits in the regional offices
- Conduct a review of inventory management
- Confirming newspaper/advert sales and producing daily/monthly reports.
- Conduct an audit of information systems.
- Assess current systems and propose enhancements for better performance.
- Perform risk assessment and review of corporate governance
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Complete professional accounting certification (ICA Gh, ACCA, CIMA Final) along with at least 4 years of pertinent work experience OR
- Part 2 Accounting certification accompanied by at least 5 years of applicable experience in a managerial role.
Required Skills/Competencies
- Should have strong analytical abilities
- Should be a cooperative individual with a strong sense of dedication and integrity.
- Should have strong communication abilities and pay close attention to detail
- Should be capable of adhering to deadlines
- Should be proficient with computers
- Familiarity with Oracle (e-Business Suite) will be beneficial.
