Job Description
A prominent school in New Ashognman is seeking an English Teacher for its JHS department who is available for immediate employment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach basic English skills such as reading, writing, and speaking.
- Create lesson plans that will successfully incorporate the entire period of each lesson.
- Execute classes efficiently, employing various teaching techniques based on the material.
- Engage students to create a lively classroom environment.
- Teach students the structure and content of the English language.
- Teach students how to spell words and understand their meanings.
- Place an emphasis on writing, grammar, and sentence structure rules.
- Teach students the proper pronunciation of words.
- Teach kids how to think critically while studying literature and poetry.
- Teach pupils how to assess and question media reports, ads, and news reports.
Required Skill or Experience
Qualifications
- Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
- The ability to teach multiple subjects is a bonus.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong creative and conceptual skills.
- A teacher licensure certificate is desirable.
- Capability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
