POSITION: Proposals and Estimation Engineer

Jay Kay Group, a leading distributor of paper and paper-related products in Ghana and West Africa, is looking for an experienced Proposals and Estimation Engineer. With over 20 years of experience, we provide great products and services to the paper and printing industries, fueled by continual development and innovation.
Job Summary:
We are searching for a full-time, on-site Proposals and Estimation Engineer to join our team in Zodiac WA. The selected candidate will prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), do project estimations, apply civil engineering skills, negotiate proposals, and undertake research to aid in project planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create structural design concepts and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Perform site visits, assessments, and data collection for proposal formulation.
- Develop and deliver technical ideas, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct technical and commercial risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or a similar subject.
- [Number] years of experience with proposals and estimation engineering.
- Solid understanding of industry norms, standards, and regulations.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Advantage:
Indian candidates having an engineering degree will have an additional advantage.
