POSITION: International Employer Partnership Consultant
About Generation
At Generation, we think work can improve lives. Our global NGO helps adults achieve economic mobility through employment. Generation partners with governments, employers, and other system players to train and put adults of all ages in inaccessible occupations. We do original research and offer data insights on high-priority global workforce transition problems to inform workforce system stakeholders’ decisions. Generation, founded in 2015, has a global hub (GYE) and in-country affiliates. Over 100,000 graduates and 11,000 businesses in 46 professions and 17 countries are in the network.
When learners enter Generation, 91% are unemployed, nearly half long-term. Our program graduates have a 78% job placement rate after three months and 88% after six. 68% of our graduates are hired by repeat companies that hire Generation grads, and 89% work in jobs linked to their training. Upon hiring, graduates earn 3-4X their previous wages. Two to five years after graduation, 77% of our upper-middle-income alumni can meet their daily financial needs and 63% can save. Generation’s global alumni have earned over $1 billion. Generation graduates are 54% female, 34% have dependents, and most identify with underrepresented communities in their country.
