POSITION: Account Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative, client-focused Account Manager to join our team at BE Africa. In this role, you will be in charge of maintaining client relationships, overseeing the successful execution of marketing programs, and ensuring that client objectives are reached. The ideal applicant will have strong marketing experience, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to provide superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day communications and ensuring that their needs are addressed.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by knowing their marketing objectives and ensuring alignment with agency offerings.
  • Create and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve client objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, digital, and media) to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented on schedule and effectively.
  • Oversee project timetables, finances, and deliverables to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, then provide clients with reports and actionable insights.
  • Identify chances to increase account size by upselling or cross-selling agency services.
  • Resolve client issues and manage expectations while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • To give clients valuable insights, and stay up to date on industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a closely connected discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as an Account Manager at a marketing firm or a comparable position.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, such as digital marketing, content marketing, and media strategy.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage many projects and clients concurrently.
  • Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, and can meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with project management and CRM applications (such as Trello, Asana, and HubSpot).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work constructively in groups.
