POSITION: Senior Accounts Officer
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Accounting Software Management:
- Maintain and update the program, including tracking total revenue from Cash Sales and Credit Sales invoices.
- Overseeing payments from credit customers and creditors.
- Handling minor cash transactions and operational expenses.
- Processing and reconciling bank transactions.
- Managing inventory (both sellable and non-sellable).
- Payroll, employee loans and advances, consultancy fees, taxes, and PPE registers are all recorded.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Provide management with daily updates to help them make decisions.
Operating Support:
- Assist with cash counts, banking activities, statutory debt repayment, utility management, and bill payment.
Additional responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties as directed by the CEO and management.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- A minimum of three years of recent familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Excellent accounting and financial analysis capabilities.
- The ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A willingness to learn, improve, and adapt to new challenges.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a rapid learning aptitude.
- Strong focus on detail and correctness in all parts of work.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
