JOB SUMMARY

The Program Operations Auditor will assist program operations by auditing marking and related activities at depot terminals throughout the country. This position will necessitate frequent field work and close coordination with Nationwide Technologies Limited (NTL) employees.

The Program Operations Auditor will largely oversee the Program’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols, ensuring compliance and successful execution at the various gasoline terminals. Additionally, the function will assist the field maintenance team in achieving the goals and objectives of the Ghana Petroleum Products Marking Program (PPMS).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To provide thorough oversight of marker preparation, dosage, reconciliation, and storage at the depots.
  • Conduct frequent on-site audits of the marking process to guarantee compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Report significant data/issues of concern to management for prompt action.
  • Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring strict adherence by NTL depot personnel.
  • Assist in the continual improvement of program deliverables and existing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with business beliefs, values, and policies to handle concerns as they arise.
  • Interface with the Project Management Office and other internal departments as needed to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Contribute to the team effort by doing related tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to the company’s health and safety rules and quality system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Key Skills:

  • Working knowledge of gasoline terminal operations.
  • Capable of understanding contract obligations
  • Excellent problem-solving and reporting abilities.
  • Excellent computer and report writing skills.
  • Drafting, implementing, and enforcing SOPs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize a workload.
  • Can retain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have prior technical expertise in a similar/related business (3 years or more).
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or a technical/related subject from a four-year institution or university is preferred.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge and use of health and safety protocols

Additional Factors:

  • Oil and gas industry experience
  • Inspections and audits
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Good report writing capabilities.
  • Customer service experience
