POSITION: Critical Care Nurse
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, organize, and implement interventions to meet the requirements of critically ill patients.
- Provide comprehensive care to manage complex health conditions and promote recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and implement care plans for improving patient care outcomes.
- Document all procedures and interventions to improve patient safety.
- Fulfill any other obligations as given.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certified Critical Care Nurse with good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Critical Care Nurse.
- 2 years of experience in high-dependency units, intensive care units (ICU), or acute care units is preferred.
Key Competencies
- Coordinate patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal treatment.
- Demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. Applicants should have strong critical thinking, communication, and report-writing skills, as well as the ability to stay calm under pressure. They should also have knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety practices, be a team player, and have strong customer relationship skills. They should also be fluent in English, have good interpersonal relationships, and have experience with electronic medical records.
Location: Accra.
