POSITION: MFS Regional Head Of Delivery

Moreover, We are looking for a seasoned leader with solid expertise in senior customer management, financial acumen, and a commitment to improving the financial landscape in the African region. The regional MFS Head of Delivery is in charge of the sales, delivery, operations, and financial performance of the Mobile Financial Service’s portfolio for specific customers.

This role reports to the Head of MFS Service Delivery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and manage internal and external regular governance to drive service delivery, and operational and business forums with the Group and its affiliates using effective KPI dashboards and measures.
  • Lead the escalation process for MFS and Mobile Money customers’ executive leadership teams.
  • Ensure that the Governance and Escalation framework is implemented in the Demand Management and Managed Operations domains.
  • Drive improvement programs, and establish and manage external and internal networks. Ensure compliance with global and Ericsson MFS procedures, methodologies, and tools.
  • Own the financial projection and measure deviations/performances against approved values. Approve OPEX to support new transactions and possibilities.
  • Own and manage service delivery, sales, and operations for a set of customers in the Middle East and Africa region.
  • Responsible for establishing, leading, and managing sales, programs, and project delivery under customer commitments and scope.
  • Continuously strive for efficient and optimum delivery by automating processes, tools, and Ericsson Wallet capabilities.
  • Provide financial and overall organizational performance reports.
  • Manage customer and partner engagement: establish customer relationships, build confidence and trust, and ensure project progress by organizing meetings and customer events.
  • Develop excellent customer relationships at the C-level (IT, engineering, marketing, finance, etc.).
  • Support customer escalation by the matrix specified at the function level.
  • Mentor the team by interacting with them and supporting their professional development, as well as identifying and recognizing abilities!
  • Adapt working practices to local customs, while adhering to the Code of Conduct and local OHS and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance and ethics while demonstrating exceptional role-model leadership characteristics.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • 15–20 years of expertise in telecom and/or ICT industry leadership • expertise in leading and managing C-suite governance
  • The ideal candidate should have managed +50 million USD in delivery projects and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in pan-African and multi-country programs, particularly as a CIO.
  • Capable of working in geographically distributed, multi-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of MFS business, IT system integration projects, and operational difficulties.
  • Hands-on experience in project delivery and operations.
  • Capable of handling resource planning and competency development.
  • Experience with complicated financial/banking or IT system service delivery. 10+ years
  • Results-oriented with a customer-first approach.
  • Capability to lead multicultural and cross-functional teams while empowering and fostering synergies.
  • Can deal with tough and ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrates strong delivery, financial, and commercial acumen.
  • Capable of working across various delivery unit types (complexity, maturity, scale).
  • Possesses analytical skills to spot trends, inefficiencies, and possibilities for value realization.
  • Excellent understanding of Ericsson’s Business Process, Financial, and Delivery models.
  • Capable of handling resource planning and competency development.
  • Negotiation, persuasion, and persuasion skills.
  • Program Management Skills
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
