Orkin Ghana is currently seeking applicants for a Pest Control Technician/Driver position in Accra, Ghana.
Summary
This role is responsible for meeting the pesticide needs of residential and commercial customers by providing timely professional indoor and outdoor pest control applications, identifying and repairing infestations and inadequacies, and delivering written reports and spoken professional advice. Creates and maintains a market image of quality care and work, exceptional customer service, and dependable results.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of pest control work, using offered training to ensure the most efficient pest solution for our customers.
- Follow a daily route schedule to ensure punctual arrival at each station. (Company vehicles are provided.)
- Communicate with consumers to ensure their contentment and cross-sell new services.
- Discuss the extent of services supplied to the customer.
- Apply all products according to the timetable, safety precautions, and label directions.
- Respond to customer service requests, handle problems, and provide verbal and written contact on a timely basis.
- Return customer calls within 48 hours and notifies them of treatment details when requested.
- Maintain a professional image by paying attention to vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleanliness, as well as your appearance.
- Complete all service-related documents with accuracy and professionalism.
- Please follow all vehicle policies and procedures.
- The work environment consists of office, fieldwork, and home visits. When visiting on residential or commercial clients, an individual in this profession may be required to interact with outside factors. Must be available to work weekends. Applicants must have an excellent driving record.
Required Skill or Experience
- Minimum Qualifications: 1st Degree Holder.
Competencies Desired:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to operate independently
- Customer Service Skills
- Pest control expertise, including products and services
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as an entrepreneurial sales style.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and oral.
- Works well in a collaborative setting.
- EPA certified licensed; however, training will be provided.
