Databank Brokerage LTD is looking for a self-motivated and imaginative candidate to fill the position with “Corporate Finance Analyst“.
Job Purpose and Summary
Support the corporate finance activities of Databank Brokerage LTD (DBL or the Firm) to effectively execute all assignments for the Firm’s client.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Create financial models to value debt and equity in mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising activities.
- Use valuation tools such as comparable companies, precedents, and discounted cash flow (DCF).
- Make suggestions about product offers, private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
- Create and review materials used to secure funding for issuers, such as investment memorandums, management presentations, and pitch books.
- Build relationships with both new and existing clients to expand the corporate financing business.
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for the Firm’s corporate finance assignments.
- Manage interactions with regulators and other stakeholders regarding corporate finance assignments.
- Prepare call reports for corporate finance assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Hold a licence from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana or a capital market regulator recognized by the International Organization of Securities Commissioners (IOSCO).
- At least two years of corporate finance experience in Ghana or other countries with a regulated capital market.

- Demonstrates exceptional research skills, particularly in explaining market events.
- Excels in a multitasking role.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates diligence in task execution.
- Interested in current events, critical issues, and relevant news.
- Proficient in financial analysis and modelling.
- Possesses excellent quantitative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing).
Location: Accra.
