2024-2025 Clarendon Scholarships At University of Oxford || Fully funded

The Clarendon Scholars Program for 2024–2025 is now taking applications at the University of Oxford. More than five hundred Clarendon Scholarships are given to enrolled students from almost seventy different countries. The University of Oxford in the United Kingdom is accepting applications from international students with outstanding academic records for fully-funded study.

Academic achievement is the criterion used to grant Clarendon Scholarships. The funding’s straightforward goal is to support intellectually gifted graduate students as they pursue their education at Oxford University. Postgraduate students who are enrolled full-time or part-time are eligible for scholarships.

Scholarship Information

  • Scholarship Sponsor: University of Oxford
  • Host Institution: University of Oxford
  • Study Level: Masters and PhD
  • Nationality: International Students

Qualification Standards

Both full-time and part-time domestic and international students are eligible for the Clarendon scholarship. Nonetheless, three main areas of selection criteria are taken into consideration while awarding the scholarships:

  • Excellent academic record: Academic excellence is a prerequisite. Most accomplished scholars often hold a first-class honors degree or its equivalent. A GPA of at least 3.7 is necessary, for example, if the grade is out of 4, though many Clarendon scholars get higher scores.
  • Future potential and aptitude: Based primarily on a review of the candidate’s references and research plans, special emphasis is given to an applicant’s potential for academic success in the future as well as their aptitude for the suggested course of study.
  • Student motivation is evaluated based on the applicant’s demonstrated dedication to the proposed course, the personal statement, and the references’ evaluations.

About the Clarendon Fund

The Clarendon Fund was named after an altruistic deed by the Earl of Clarendon and because of its close ties to Oxford University Press (OUP).

In addition to OUP, Clarendon is heavily assisted by numerous Oxford colleges, academic departments and divisions, University trust funds, and outside partners. This partnership, which is known as Partnership Awards, enables the costs to be divided among several sources, allowing the Fund to receive over £8.9 million annually and awarding more fully-funded scholarships.
