- POSITION: Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Report to: Restaurant Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Provides a pleasant customer experience by offering fair, friendly, and kind service.
- Sales are recorded on a cash register by scanning things, itemizing them, and tallying their purchases.
- Addresses consumer concerns and inquiries.
- All food processing areas should be cleaned and sanitized in accordance with approved hygiene guidelines.
- Washing and storing all cooking equipment, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
- Assisting the cook in preparing meal materials, such as washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat,.
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor, as well as cleaning the kitchen walls,.
- Provide support services to other departments as needed.
Required Skill or Experience
Education, Skills, and Work Experience
- Completed secondary schooling and holds a WASSCE certificate.
- Possess a certificate from a recognized vocational school, such as NVTI, COTVET.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and the capacity to multitask in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Show excellent communication, teamwork, and computer literacy abilities.
