William Paterson University International Freshman Awards
William Paterson University is happy to announce the establishment of the Freshman Awards for the academic year 2023–2024 in order to give bright but financially struggling students the proper platform for their personal, intellectual, and professional development.
Only new freshman students are eligible for these awards, which have been established. Both domestic and foreign incoming freshmen may submit an application. The chosen students will get a scholarship determined by merit.

To be eligible for the grant, students must submit an application for admission. The entrance application will serve as the foundation for selection.

Entry requirements:
- The university’s admission standards must be met by students.
- Language prerequisite: The following English language proficiency exam results must be submitted by the students:
- 80 on the TOEFL IBT,
- 550 on the PBT, a
- 213 on the CBT
- IELTS – 6.0
