Qualification Requirements:

In order to qualify for the Queensland University Scholarship for International Students, candidates need to fulfill the following requirements:

• English is the required language. Suitable Nations: Accepting applications from candidates in all nations Regarding the International Science Scholarship:
• Must be eligible to study in Australia as an overseas student.
• Must, by the scholarship closing date, provide all necessary paperwork to satisfy the terms of an offer from UQ for an authorized program.
• Must submit an excellent academic record with the application for the UQ program.
• Enrollment in a program run by the UQ Faculty of Science is required, and it must be full-time and last longer than a year.
• The applicant must be enrolled in their first semester at UQ.
• These grants are not available to applicants who are currently enrolled at UQ and would like to switch studies.
• Students who sign up for exchange, study abroad, or non-award programs are not qualified.
• Recipients of scholarships must begin their studies in the semester that is designated in the offer letter from UQ, work hard to finish their course of study, consent to having their name, photo, and degree program information published by UQ, and submit a testimonial and appropriate photo for publishing.

Regarding the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship at UQ:

• A minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or an equivalent qualification) must have been attained.
• Must have finished Year 12 in 2022 or 2023 (if you’re taking a gap year right now).
• Must fulfill one of the requirements listed below:
• Possess an Australian permanent humanitarian visa or be an Australian citizen; or
• Have completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia and be an International Student, New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia.
• Must not have finished any prior postsecondary education, unless it was required for Year 11–12 coursework (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program).
• As of December 18, 2023, the applicant must have submitted an application for a postsecondary place via QTAC and indicated UQ as their top choice.
• Must plan to attend full-time in an undergraduate program at the University of Queensland in 2024 (or 2025 if they choose to postpone their tertiary place).
