There are currently 7 academies run by The Agency London spread over 8 locations in the UK. In 2023, more schools are expected to become members of the Agency. Every one of our schools has openings for staff members. The Agency will verify the appointment of the successful applicants first, and then during the summer semester, the designated school will be confirmed. There may be times when you need to travel between locations to attend training sessions.

Teaching pupils at the school and performing any more related tasks that the principal may rightfully assign. These could entail offering guidance and working together with the principal and other educators on the creation of curricula, instructional resources, programs, techniques, assessments, and pastoral care plans.

Job Requirements

This job description must be completed following the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, employee contracts, and established school policies.

Connections

  • Under all conditions, answerable to the Principal and, in the Principal’s absence, the Vice Principal.
  • Also, in responsible for overseeing the relevant learning support assistants’ work.
    In addition, working along with any one or all of the following:
  1. Both parents and students.
  2. The teaching and support personnel, topic coordinators, vice principal, and principal.
  3. The executive branch.
  4. Reps from the teachers’ union in the classroom.
  5. Employees of the local government who work in education.
  6. Instructors who offer advice.
  7. Workers from different trusts or institutions.
  8. People who live nearby.

Key Tasks and Activities

The principal responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Teaching the designated class’s assigned students per their educational needs
  • Second, regulate and oversee the usage and storage of educational resources in the classroom
  • Next, create and prepare lessons, work plans, and activities with the help of your colleagues, year leaders, and other supervisors to guarantee that the students in your class have equitable access to the curriculum and that the work is appropriate for their age and skill level.
  • Also, as per the processes agreed upon by the school, keep an eye on and evaluate the accomplishments and development of your kids. If necessary, keep parents informed regularly.
  • In addition, to uphold order per the policies and disciplinary procedures of the school
  • Besides that, participate in conversations, attend meetings, and put management techniques into practice to plan the school’s and the Trust’s overall activities.
  • Likewise, maintain adherence to the Trust’s equal opportunities policy and foster equal chances within the school
  • Similarly, to sign student attendance forms in class.
  • Participate in professional development activities and decide on a plan.
  • Above all, attend pertinent INSET, provide a report to colleagues, and apply the learning objectives in the classroom as necessary.

Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 Annually
