A reputable Company invites applications from qualified candidates for the following position: DRIVERS
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff/visitors with a high level of customer service. The job holder is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensuring it is in a safe and serviceable condition.
Specifically, the successful candidate will:
- First and foremost, drive efficiently and professionally operational and official vehicles in regular and/or shift systems on approved routes and on approved assignments.
- Secondly, monitor fuel and lubricant consumption and advise on v. Knowledge of safe driving practices and maintenance needs of the vehicle
- Thirdly, wash/clean the vehicle and ensure it is always in a serviceable and clean condition.
- Also, report on maintenance/servicing schedules of vehicles.
- Afterward, initiate requests for fuel, lubricant, and vehicle accessories (tyres, batteries, etc.).
- Furthermore, check all tyres properly and keep the service vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside
- Moreover, keep track of timely car insurance renewals
- Besides that, regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they conform to Passenger Transportation and Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
- Last but not least, observe and make independent decisions, escalate and report as appropriate in respect of health and safety.
- Lastly, update monthly mileage records

Qualification/Experience, Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Minimum of Diploma/HND in Mechanical/Auto Engineering or any field of study
- Holder of a valid Driving License C, D, or F
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience as a Driver in a similar role and fleet management
- Knowledge of vehicle Maintenance and Management
- Knowledge of Ghana Traffic Laws and Highway Codes vil Communication Skills
- Customer Service Skills
Age: Maximum of 40
