Study in USA: 2024-2025 Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program
The Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program (TJSP), whose mission is to provide full-time undergraduate students from Tunisia with the opportunity to spend one academic year studying non-degree topics at a university or institution in the United States, is currently taking applications for the academic year 2024–2025. The scholarship will be awarded to a single student from Tunisia.
Through academic opportunity, professional involvement, and the development of leadership qualities, the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program (TJSP) equips young people in Tunisia with the required abilities to support economic growth, stability, and democratic advancement. This is accomplished through the program’s namesake.
About IREX
Our goal is a more equitable, wealthy, and welcoming world in which people realize their full potential, governments act in the interests of their constituents, and communities prosper.
Persistent poverty, oppression, and injustice keep too many people from realizing their potential worldwide. We concentrate on people rather than structures, roads, or wells in order to solve these issues. We assist people and organizations in bringing about change in their local communities and building human bridges across international borders.
Also, we take action. Our many years of field expertise enable us to produce partnerships that last, recommendations that are useful, and higher-effect
In four critical areas for development—youth empowerment, leadership development, institutional strengthening, and expanding access to high-quality education and information—IREX collaborates with partners in over 100 countries. Building societal trust, putting an end to misinformation, and decreasing corruption are all part of what we do.
IREX has established a strategic alliance with Development Gateway, a nonprofit organization with a clear mission that uses data to better the lives of individuals and communities. The collaboration presents Development Gateway as an IREX affiliate.

IREX History
Since its founding in 1968, IREX has been a charity dedicated to global development and education, with a particular emphasis on people and communities.
Our organization was founded to promote the exchange of ideas among researchers, educators, students, and teachers in order to bridge geopolitical barriers. Then, IREX expanded on our knowledge and contacts throughout Eurasia to assist those spearheading reforms in education, organizing recently empowered civil society movements, and establishing an efficient and responsible government.
IREX rose to prominence for enhancing young empowerment via education and leadership development, bolstering independent media, and expanding access to information technology. IREX expanded this knowledge to new areas as the demands of the world changed, starting with Asia and then on to the Middle East, Africa, and finally Latin America.
Our constant focus has been on people and communities over these decades of development. Currently, IREX and our partners work in over 100 countries to empower youth, develop leaders, fortify institutions, and provide access to high-quality education and information in order to create a more equitable, prosperous, and inclusive world.
Europe’s IREX
