Popular Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, says that it is only fair for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to have the opportunity to serve the country for four additional years.
In an interview with Hitz FM, the Dancehall King stated that the president has done very great things that he deserves to be given another 4-year term. He expressed his admiration for President Akufo-Addo in his fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
He said he was happy with how the president and his government are managing the COVID’19. Shatta Wale also mentioned that the president has done many things that other African countries have not been able to do in this COVID’19 period.
The CEO of Shatta Movement Empire stated clearly that he has not voted before but he recommends that the Ghanaian populace vote for Nana Addo in this year’s election.
According to him, Presidents in Ghana can only perform to the maximum if they are given 8 years. He stressed on the need to give Nana Addo 4 more years to complete his major projects.
The award-winning musician furthered that he does not consider Nana Addo as the best president. However, the COVID’19 has made him seen the president from a different perspective.
Shatta did not leave Nana Addo’s strong rival out. He proclaimed his love for Former President John Dramani Mahama.
He finally stated that the only mistake of Ghanaians is their impatience. He advised Ghanaians to always allow the presidents to end their term of office before they start judging them.
