Reddington Farms is in search of a skilled Farm Manager to supervise our pig farming and aquaculture (catfish) activities. We seek a highly driven individual with solid farm management knowledge, animal care skills, and leadership qualities to promote operational success.

Main Duties:

• Supervise daily agricultural activities, encompassing pig farming and catfish cultivation.
• Create business plans to enhance farm profitability and increase product marketability.
• Adopt optimal methods in livestock management, aquaculture, and eco-friendly farming.
• Oversee the cultivation of crops intended for livestock feed and commercial use.
• Create and apply sustainable agricultural methods, including organic composting, water reuse, and regenerative farming.
• Organize seasonal planting and harvesting timelines to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Oversee and educate farm staff to guarantee effectiveness and output.
• Keep track of farm records, inventory, and budgets through farm management software.
• Oversee animal health, water conditions, and farm cleanliness to enhance yield and quality.
• Guarantee adherence to industry regulations, biosecurity protocols, and safety standards.
• Devise and implement tactics to enhance output, financial gain, and sustainability.
• Work together with veterinarians, suppliers, and industry specialists to improve farm productivity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Aquaculture, Agriculture, or a similar discipline (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in managing pig farming and/or aquaculture (catfish).
• Robust understanding of techniques for raising livestock and fish.
• Familiarity with agricultural management software and documentation.
• Demonstrated capability to effectively lead and supervise farm employees.
• Outstanding abilities in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Excellent organizational abilities and competence in handling several tasks simultaneously.
• Readiness to operate in any weather conditions and manage different types of farming machinery.
