PUBLIC SECTOR SALARY: GOG E- PAY SLIP FOR APRIL 2022

GOG E-Pay slip is an online pay slip checker that allows government workers to access information about the payment at their own convenience. It was introduced by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department in October 2013. This was done to in order help improve the payroll system in Ghana. And also, to avoid challenges that are faced with the printing of the pay slips.

There is an online GOG E-pay slip portal that Government workers are to sign up for, in order to have access to their pay slip. Below is a guideline on how to sign up for the GOG E-Pay slip account.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT

• First, log on to the site, www.gogpayslip.com and select the link “register for E-payslip”.
• Next, you’ll be required to enter your Employee identification number or Staff ID. Every staff has this unique identification number. A confirmation note will pop up for you to reconfirm your Staff ID.
• Afterwards, you’ll be asked to create a secured password. This password will be unique to you. It will be used to log in to your portal or account anytime.
• After securing and confirming your password, the next page is where you’ll input your registered number. The registered number is not your phone number
• Next, you’ll be asked to enter a valid email address
• Afterwards, you’ll be required to enter your Mobile or Phone Number. A code will pop up on the screen afterwards.
• Then, enter the code that was shown on the screen and click on “register to complete the registration process
• Therefore, you’ll be redirected to the Controller and Accountant General Department login page. There, you’ll need to provide your login details: your Staff ID and your password.
• Finally, a code will be displayed afterwards. After that, enter the code, click on the login button and the next page you’ll see is your E-pay slip dashboard.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR PAY SLIP FOR APRIL IN YOUR E-PAY SLIP PORTAL

The E- Pay slip dashboard has many features that are all as important as your pay slip. Some of the features are: my pay slip, my affordability, my e-forms, change of association, change of password, wrongful deductions and change in my number. Let’s focus on how to access your GOG pay slip.

• First, in your dashboard, after successfully logging in, select “My Pay slip” from the list in the menu.
• Automatically, the system will redirect you to your current pay slip and you’ll have access to all the months’ pay slip.
• Afterward, select the month, specifically April, and click on generate.
• Then, navigate through to the save or print button on the top of the page. Click to save and print out that month’s pay slip. You can also save and download your pay slip as a pdf.
