POSITION: Strategic Communications Specialist
Company Description:
PACKS Africa is a non-profit research organization led by young people situated in Accra. We are committed to increasing the use of research and other forms of evidence in policy processes. Our work is guided by pan-Africanist values, with a focus on information system assessments, knowledge management, and evidence-based campaigning.
Role Description
This is a contract position for a Strategic Communications Specialist. The Strategic Communications Specialist will be in charge of doing communication tasks such as writing press releases, managing corporate communications, and participating in public affairs. The position will be based in Accra, but it will also allow for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral
- Experience with strategic communications
- The ability to write effective press releases
- Knowledge and expertise in corporate communications
- Understanding of Public Affairs
Skills and Qualifications
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be useful for this role include:
- Experience in the non-profit sector
- Understanding of policy processes
- Proficient in various languages
- Experience with media relations.
- Background in research or evidence-based decision-making
