POSITION: Data Analyst – M&E
The Data Analyst will be in charge of checking and assuring the quality of the data in the database. He/she will assist the traceability national coordinator in achieving full data for all farmers (mapping and census) and 100% volume digitization.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all data concerning farmers and their volumes in the Master database.
- Maintain the quality of the data in the database (Update, Quality check, and Correction).
- Responsible for ensuring that data is available and reliable for both internal and public reporting.
- Responsible for extracting data from K-App for analysis and decision-making.
- Tracking and analyzing volumes uploaded to the K-App
- Assist the country traceability coordinator in implementing all traceability policies.
- Data Collection and Processing:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from several sources.
- Ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Use statistical approaches and tools to evaluate huge datasets.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help guide company decisions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden linkages.
- Create visual representations of data with charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Communicate your findings successfully to non-technical stakeholders.
- Create regular reports to keep stakeholders informed on key metrics and performance indicators.
- Use databases to retrieve and alter data as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT professionals, and management, to better understand data requirements.
About You
- First degree or diploma in statistical or quantitative analysis.
- 3-5 years of experience in any job related to the cocoa supply chain would be an added plus.
- Advanced studies in data analytics are advantageous.
- Knowledge of analytical/statistical software (Stata, R, advanced Excel, and Python)
- Good knowledge of software programming and app development is an added benefit.
- Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of data management and the capacity to manage significant amounts of data while maintaining traceability throughout our supply chain.
- Ability to motivate and work under pressure. Self-discipline, tactful, dependable, and trustworthy
- Capability to plan, coordinate, and lead to obtain results.
- Fluency in English and the local language is a bonus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
