Last Mile Manager – Regional will oversee all projects and trials associated with last-mile delivery in their area/territory. Individually or collaboratively, developed or enhanced methods for utilizing the company’s current or future resources to deliver products to customers.
Your tasks
- Proactively guide CXP and VXP excellence initiatives in your region.
- Regularly provide input and participate in the development of the system roadmap to create the necessary tools for successful logistics.
- Aiding in the execution of the scale-up and growth of the last mile presence (3PL growth, pickup station development, hiring and expanding Delivery Associates).
- Enhance fleet management strategies, personnel, and operational expenses within the region.
- Foster a culture of top-tier material handling in the Last mile.
- Spearhead vital changes in the supply chain (or collaboratively), enabling our last-mile hubs to obtain products more quickly and frequently without raising delivery expenses.
- Capability to collaborate across functions with essential fulfillment partners like Logistics, supply chain, and additional partners, including IT.
Qualifications Required
We are seeking candidates who possess/are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; a Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet, etc.
- Skilled in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, and more.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
- Expertise in strategic planning and managing intricate networks.
- Strong understanding of the logistical operations within the local market is advantageous.
- Focused on processes, well-structured with a strong emphasis on detail.
- Data-focused with robust analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Engage successfully with peers in the Logistics Department.
- Outstanding team leadership abilities
- Energetic and capable of functioning in a high-speed setting
