A startup is searching for a passionate and active Operations Manager (Acting Sales Manager) to join our team in Accra. If you are passionate about logistics, sales, and operational excellence, we want you on our team!

Job Description

As a Full-Time Operations Manager (Acting Sales Manager), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and driving sales objectives. This dual function necessitates a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities and a successful track record in both operations and sales.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management.
• Create and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics to discover opportunities for improvement.
• Work with the logistics team to ensure timely and correct deliveries.
• Sales management.
• Create and implement sales strategy to achieve company goals.
• Identify and pursue new business possibilities to increase the company’s client base.
• Develop and maintain great relationships with customers and partners.
• Create and deliver sales data and predictions to upper management.
• Team leadership.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire the operations and sales teams.
• Hold regular team meetings to discuss performance and resolve any difficulties.
• Create a good and collaborative working atmosphere.
• Customer service.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding to client problems quickly and efficiently.
• Use client input to help enhance service quality.

Must Have

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, sales, or a closely connected discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations management and sales, ideally in the logistics or transportation industries.
• Strategic thinking.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to create and implement successful sales strategies.
• Proficiency with operations and sales software.

Nice to have

• Certificate in supply chain management or logistics.
• Experience with writing online content.
• Knowledge of the Ghanaian logistics and transportation market is advantageous.
• Additional Languages
• Google Adwords experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
