POSITION: Intern – IT & Administrative Support

About the Position: 

The IT & Administrative Support Intern at Lead For Ghana (LFG) will be instrumental in aiding the growth and improvement of the organization’s IT tools and systems while also providing support in administrative tasks and recruitment efforts for fellows. This role demands a proactive, detail-focused person who can deliver technical, organizational, and logistical assistance throughout different departments.

The IT & Administrative Support Intern will assist in system development, oversee digital platforms, aid in recruitment efforts, and offer general administrative assistance to guarantee seamless and effective operations. The perfect applicant will possess robust technical expertise, outstanding organizational skills, and a dedication to LFG’s mission and values. They need to feel at ease functioning in a quick-moving, changing setting, aiding in both IT advancement and operational effectiveness within the organization.

Main Duties:

  • IT Development & Support: Aid in the creation, evaluation, and enhancement of IT solutions, such as AI-based tools and LMS systems.
  • System Management: Assist the team with server setups, hosting services, and website management to improve digital platforms.
  • UI/UX Improvements: Help enhance the user experience of Lead For Ghana’s IT platforms.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Help with candidate recruitment activities, such as managing application procedures, addressing questions, and arranging recruitment-related documents.
  • Administrative Support: Offer general administrative aid, such as arranging meetings, managing digital documents, and assisting with office functions.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Proficient technical abilities in Flutter, Dart, Firebase, AWS, and website hosting (cPanel).
  • Having experience in UI/UX design, digital marketing, and content creation is advantageous.
  • Effective problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to operate both autonomously and cooperatively in a changing setting.

Education and Experience 

  • Currently seeking or have recently finished a BSc in Information Technology or a similar discipline.
