A respected Public Service organization seeks applications from qualified candidates for the following positions: Deputy Director-General for Technical and Field Operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provides technical and field operations advice to the Director-General.
- Ensures quality assurance assessment in internal audit functions within public institutions.
- Plans, monitors, and evaluates program implementation.
- Updates technical operation guidelines, standards, directives, and procedures.
- Submits monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and annual performance reports to the D.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution
- A post-graduate qualification in auditing, accounting, or similar fields or specialization
- Be a member of a recognized professional body, such as ICA, ACCA, or CIA.
- Have at least 14 years of relevant work experience in auditing or accounting in a reputable public or private sector organization, with 5 years at Senior Management level.
- Be computer-literate and have hands-on experience with modern auditing tools.
Location: Accra.
