POSITION: Product Manager
Job Description
EMTECH is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in driving the development and strategy of our innovative financial products, from conception to launch and beyond. The ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of the fintech sector, including digital currencies and blockchain technology, as well as a track record of successfully managing complex products that fulfill the demands of both central banks and their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire product development process, from ideation to launch, including iteration.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments to ensure that the product meets market needs and the company’s goals.
- Conduct extensive market research to uncover new opportunities and better understand client needs in the central banking and fintech sectors.
- Create and maintain extensive product documentation, such as user stories, use cases, and requirements.
- Collect and translate business requirements into precise technical documentation that includes extensive acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with your immediate team (Designers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and others) to swiftly, iteratively, and effectively translate solid requirements into working products.
- Create and track metrics to measure product and feature success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with users and our Customer Success team to understand uptake, usage, and customer feedback so that we can predict future needs.
- Work with the Design team to create product prototypes, wireframes, and mockups.
- Lead agile tasks including backlog grooming, feature prioritization, and sprint preparation.
- Communicate effectively with all internal teams and external stakeholders to establish clear product delivery objectives and timetables.
- Show internal teams and other stakeholders how completed products work.
Required Qualifications, Skill, or Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in the fintech, financial services, or technology industries.
- Experience with product documentation and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and product analytics tools.
- Experience conducting research, defining, and documenting complicated business processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to make assumptions and conclusions based on data and metrics.
- Excellent communication abilities (including written, verbal, and interpersonal) with the ability to convey complicated concepts throughout the business.
- Strong understanding of digital currencies, blockchain technology, and the regulatory environment influencing financial institutions.
- Worked together with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile setting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Proactive, self-starter with a passion for EMTECH’s goal and the desire to make a major impact.
