ROLE: Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance and Material Supervisor

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be in charge of facility and infrastructure maintenance to guarantee that CNML Interest is adequately handled. This will entail overseeing Facilities Maintenance service providers, Contractors, and fuel supply services.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan, plan, implement, and supervise Mine Facilities, such as camps, quarters, housing, offices, recreational facilities, and service infrastructures, to ensure compliance with government regulations and environmental, health, safety, and security standards.
  • As a major stakeholder, manage all service providers to ensure that facilities are maintained to an adequate standard and per (SLA) service Level agreements.
  • Review the Facility maintenance handbook, SOPs, and WIs regularly and offer comments for improvement where necessary.
  • Create a Planned Preventive Maintenance Plan (PPM) to help us maximize and maintain the value of our property or asset by keeping it in full operating condition and as safe as feasible.
  • Examine work requests for supervisor approval and elevate for Line Manager attention decisions that are outside of your mandate.
  • Oversee the inspection, auditing, maintenance, and repairs of the mine facilities’ mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as service programs, to guarantee compliance with specified business procedures and high-quality maintenance and repairs. The built environment, building systems, and service infrastructure are examples of maintenance areas.
  • Begin efforts to discover opportunities to improve site sustainability.
  • Assist in the creation of KPIs and SLAs to track the performance of functions and teams.
  • In charge of the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Facilities and Administration Budget.
  • Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports on, for example, maintenance expenses (planned and unscheduled).
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor based on the needs of the company.

Required Qualifications or Experience

  • Degree in Facilities Management, MEP, or Mechanical Engineering is required.

Minimum experience required

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Facility or Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Office Suite and CAFM
  • In-depth knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of facility maintenance, maintenance procedures, and report writing
  • Knowledge of the Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Infrastructures
  • Understanding Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operations.
