About This Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Charging Support Engineer to deliver technical service and support to our clients. In this position, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues to optimize and stabilize customer networks. Your responsibilities will include configuring and integrating various nodes and solutions in both new and existing customer environments.
As a Support Engineer, you will engage with customer technical teams, operations managers, service engineers, and other departments within the Service Delivery organization. Interaction with sales teams, R&D, third-party suppliers, and local authorities may also be part of your role.
Given the fluidity of responsibilities, flexibility in mastering multiple areas is essential. You should be prepared to travel internationally and adapt to diverse cultural settings. With rapid advancements in technology, it is crucial to continuously update your skills and knowledge.
Success in this role requires broad expertise in telecommunications and data communications, encompassing hardware, software, and networking. You will collaborate and communicate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers globally, often taking on significant responsibilities and working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries (standard CSR tasks)
- Handle emergency cases and perform fault isolation for customers
- Provide dedicated support
- Manage Software Update Management (SUM)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a relevant role
- Domain Expertise: BSS, Charging System
- Proven ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations
- Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
Additional Requirements:
– In-depth knowledge of SDP/AIR/NGCRS/NGVS/OCC/CCN/EDA/EM
- Proficiency in tracing and analyzing sophisticated logs for BSS applications, alongside skills in RedHat, Linux System Administration, Virtualization, Scripting, SQL, Oracle, and other related platforms
- Strong command of RedHat Linux RHEL
- Familiarity with VMware hypervisor, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Previous experience with Ericsson is highly preferred
- Skills in Linux (bash scripting, installation, and networking)
- Knowledge of SQL & Oracle DB is a plus
