Job Description and Role Summary

We are looking for young, energetic, forward-thinking, and motivated people who are eager to make an impact in our People and Purpose department. This function is in charge of essential HR activities in the People and Purpose Department, such as talent acquisition, career and performance management support, learning and development support, and other HR-related tasks. The person would also give support and oversight as needed by the People and Purpose Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the employment lifecycle at Deloitte.
  • Actively support the team lead in reviewing and updating compensation (reward management)-related policies and activities following global best practices.
  • Work with business leaders to design new job descriptions and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate and monitor the use of all Performance Management components, including check-ins, pulse surveys, career coaching, performance snapshots, quarterly talent evaluations, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensure that Annual Business Unit learning and development plans are effectively coordinated and developed in collaboration with the Learning Champions.
  • Coordinate all recruitment activities – Review CVs, supervise aptitude assessments, and shortlist qualified individuals for entry and experienced higher levels.
  • Coordinate and review interview reports for all Entry, Senior, Manager, and Associate Director positions.
  • Effectively coordinate all post-interview recruitment processes, including pre-employment medical assessments and psychometric evaluations.
  • Efficient record keeping

Qualifications

  • Requirements for this position include 5 years of relevant experience in HR and a B.Sc. in Social Science, Humanities, or Business with a least of second class upper.
  • Professional HR Certification (CIHRM, SPHRi, and SHRM)
  • Experience with a Big4 firm or international corporation will be an added plus.
  • Demonstrates strong business understanding and the ability to effectively manage information flow and dissemination.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize assignments while working with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of HRMIS systems is required, and experience with SAP will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to operate under pressure.
  • Ability to take the initiative, be proactive, and be forward-thinking.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of employment laws and regulations, relevant regulatory organizations (SSNIT, PAYE, Provident Fund) and their needs.
