Microfinance Field Officers at a Rural Bank
A rural bank in the Ashanti Region requires the services of a Microfinance Field Officers
SUMMARY OF THE JOB
- Make a plan of action for each year that includes and describes the new communities you want to reach.
- Access when clients are to be targeted, training to be given, and loans to be given out and paid back.
- Together with opinion leaders, go into new communities and raise awareness on the goals and aims of the program:
- Get people who are interested to form solidarity groups, encouraging people with similar interests to work together.
- Give training on group dynamics to make sure the group stays together and is active.
- Do a training needs assessment and give clients credit for their education Get and look over applications for group loans
- Prepare and evaluate forms for group loans
- Disburse loans to groups.
- Keep an eye on how well groups pay back loans and how well they do overall.
- Help groups that aren’t doing as well by building their skills.
- Evaluate the performance and design of the group, make suggestions, and start continuous improvement activities
- Make sure that the repayment rate is always at least 98%.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- First degree or professional qualifications that are the same as a first degree, preferably in accounting.
- 5 years of experience working in a bank or financial institution.
- A valid motor license to ride (or readiness to ride one as soon as possible)
