Application guidelines:

Step 1:

  • Enroll in a master’s program at UM that is involved (participating in programs).
  • Please visit the website of your potential program for more information on how to apply for a master’s degree at UM. After completing the Studielink application process, you will be assigned a UM student ID number. To finish and submit the scholarship application form, you will need a student number (see Step 2 below).
  • Please take note that the UM NL-High Potential Scholarship is exclusively available to master’s programs listed above.
  • Please take note that in order to obtain your student ID, you must first apply for the master’s program at UM. Once you have your ID, you may then apply for the scholarship. But in order to receive a scholarship, your master’s program entrance must be conditionally authorized.
  • Please be aware that the UM International Services Desk does not pay handling costs if your study program demands they be paid as part of the admissions process. By February 1, 2024, you must pay any processing fees that your program may impose. Please check the ‘Admission requirements’ menu tab on your program’s webpage to see whether there is a handling charge associated with it.

Step 2:

Kindly complete the application and log in with your UM account first.

Please complete the application by clicking this link. Applications can only be submitted through the application form.

Once the following files have been uploaded in PDF,.docx, or.doc format, submit your application. You only have one chance to submit your application, so make sure all of your supporting materials and referee contact information are current. The UM International Services Desk will make sure that your full scholarship application is taken into consideration for all eligible programs for which you have an authorized or conditionally approved admissions status if you have applied to more than one UM study program.
