- POSITION: Station Supervisor
- Location: Kumasi
The Station Supervisor will operate under the leadership of the Senior Operations Manager to guarantee the station’s successful performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The overall operations of the station.
- Management of resources, such as people and equipment, to ensure that flights go smoothly.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by implementing suitable complaint-handling procedures.
- Plan, make judgments, and implement effective corrective actions in service recovery while dealing with difficulties such as delays, disruptions, or refused boarding. To maintain consumer faith and loyalty, the “Options Scheme” will be implemented under the Senior Operations Manager’s standards.
- Increase revenue by collecting extra luggage costs and changing reservation charges, while providing high-quality customer service at all touchpoints.
- Coordinating with relevant agencies and stakeholders to ensure that the Station operates efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that flights are properly dispatched, closed, and concluded on time.
- Working with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure that the Station operates efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with the Station’s health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out different administrative responsibilities, such as personnel rostering, performance appraisal completion, stationery reordering, and so on, to ensure that employees are disciplined, well-motivated, well-groomed, and capable of doing their tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Confirm revenue documents and meet all standards.
- Assist and support the Senior Operations Manager in investigating irregularities and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.
- Attend and complete station audits.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A university degree or equivalent, with at least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in the aviation industry.
- You must have worked in Ground Operations for at least three (3) years.
- Must be able to work independently, under pressure, and within corporate policies and norms.
- Must be available to travel and/or work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for up to four hours at a time.
- Must be able to connect with Operations and make terminal announcements using portable radios and microphones.
- Demonstrates great customer service, leadership, and collaborative abilities.
- You must have great and efficient communication abilities.
- Possess problem-solving abilities, confidence, and the ability to delegate work.
