Position Summary

OneAfrica Properties is in search of a driven and skilled Managing Broker to direct and supervise our real estate brokerage activities. The Managing Broker will oversee licensed agents, guarantee legal adherence, promote recruitment and sales effectiveness, and aid in strategic growth into essential markets throughout Ghana and other African countries. This leadership position is perfect for an energetic individual with excellent managerial, mentoring, and sales abilities who excels in a fast-paced, global business setting.

Main Duties

Brokerage Operations and Compliance 

  • Oversee all licensed real estate agents and guarantee adherence to the regulations set by the Ghana Real Estate Agency Council (REAC).
  • Sustain all brokerage licenses and oversee legal paperwork and filing systems.
  • Supervise real estate deals and contract fulfillment to guarantee compliance with legal and ethical norms.
  • Create, apply, and uphold organizational policies, procedures, and optimal practices.

Agent Supervision & Growth 

  • Hire, educate, and integrate new real estate agents and brokers.
  • Offer continuous guidance and mentoring to agents to enhance sales results, client service, and professional standards.
  • Arrange sales meetings, training sessions, and career development programs.

Sales and Strategic Expansion 

  • Spearhead company initiatives to increase listings, finalize agreements, and enhance market presence, particularly in luxury, commercial, and diaspora-oriented residential segments.
  • Work together on sales tactics and marketing efforts to engage buyers, sellers, developers, and investors.
  • Monitor sales metrics and deliver frequent performance reports to the executive team.

Client and Developer Engagement 

  • Act as a principal point of contact for important clients, developers, and global partners.
  • Assist with unique listings, seller showcases, and project development proposals for major initiatives.
  • Serve as a representative for OneAfrica Properties at both local and international real estate events.

Leadership & Culture

  • Assist in developing a professional, ethical, and client-centered company culture.
  • Encourage teamwork among departments and sustain a constructive, objective-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Legitimate Real Estate Broker License in Ghana (or desire to acquire one if licensed overseas).
  • At least 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Proven achievements in recruiting agents, training personnel, and developing teams.
  • Deep understanding of real estate regulations, agreements, and sales processes in Ghana.
  • Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of real estate CRMs, online marketing, and listing services.
  • Bonus: Background in collaborating with global clients or diaspora sectors.
