- Job Title: PHARMACIST
- Locations: Ashley Botwe Adenta Municipality and Akuapem Mampong
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical treatment to customers in the health facility in compliance with the Standards of Pharmaceutical treatment, Standard Operating
- Procedures (SOPs), and Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Services.
- To improve therapeutic outcomes, provide information, advice, and counseling on medications to other health professionals and patients/clients.
- Serve as Pharmacy Manager at a Clinical Department.
- Ensure that drugs are stored and handled safely and securely in the hospital.
- Serve as an active member of the hospital’s quality assurance team as needed.
- Promote the work of the hospital’s Drugs and Therapeutic Committee (DTC) and Rational Use of Medicines (RUM).
- Ensure that patients/clients receive pharmaceutical items and devices that are of high quality, safe, effective, and inexpensive.
- Ensure that the hospital’s revolving drug funds are managed effectively and efficiently.
Ensure that pharmacy data is collected, stored, processed, and used efficiently to inform management and clinical care choices. - Actively participate in the establishment of hospital rules and guidelines, and ensure that they are followed.
- Provide central intravenous addiction treatments in accordance with the degree of care at the hospital.
Required Skill or Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of leading and managing a diverse workforce, as well as managing workloads and meeting deadlines under duress.
- Computer skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
