POSITION: Finance Manager
As Finance Manager – Ghana, you will be responsible for providing financial decision-making information by contributing to financial business processes such as data collection, analysis, investigation, and reporting in your particular firm. You’ll be stationed in Ghana and report to the Group Finance Manager.
You will
- Management of stakeholder relationships with the Bank of Ghana, local auditors, tax consultants, and other regulators.
- Preparation of compliance reports as required by the regulator, the Bank of Ghana.
- Ensure the timely evaluation, submission, and payment of required returns.
- Work with the CEO and the Board to establish and manage a strategic implementation plan.
- Collaborate with the Group Finance manager and global finance team on cross-entity control and reporting efforts.
- Interacting cross-functionally by providing financial, regulatory, and prudential consulting support to initiatives while also managing stakeholder relationships with other in-country regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that financial records and processes are kept in compliance with the Companies
- Act, the Banking and Financial Services Act, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Investigate new IFRS and apply them to annual financial statements where appropriate.
- Completion of annual statutory financial statements.
- Review and/or prepare monthly and end-of-month reports.
- Coordinate auditing activities.
You’ll need:
- Full professional Chartered Accounting qualification or certification, such as ACCA;
- A minimum of five years’ experience in finance, with exposure to working in a banking environment being an added bonus.
- Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Competent in the art of negotiating.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with regulatory reporting.
- Strong Excel skills, including Power Queries and Pivot Tables, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
- Experience with accounting standards and good attention to detail;
- Capable of working with the Pastel accounting package.

Remote First
You’ll be based in Ghana. We use a remote-first approach to work, which means that working remotely is our default option. We have co-working spaces available in Accra for collaboration and interaction, as well as for people who value and prefer to work from an office. You can work from anywhere as long as you have a reliable internet connection and are geared up to do so remotely.
