POSITION: Zonal Manager
Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Zonal Manager to become part of our team and assist our operations in the organic fertilizer industry. The ZM will be essential in marketing and advertising our organic fertilizer offerings, cultivating connections with farmers, and promoting our fertilizers to agricultural producers, distributors, and wholesale merchants. The perfect candidate should possess a strong enthusiasm for sustainability farming, outstanding communication abilities, and the skill to work autonomously in a changing environment.
Major Duties:
- Market company products to farmers and input suppliers in the northern region.
- Deliver technical assistance and agronomic guidance to farmers via our agronomist regarding the correct application, utilization, and advantages of organic fertilizers.
- Facilitate product demonstrations, training workshops, and sessions to inform farmers about organic farming methods and the significance of soil health.
- Gather input from farmers about product effectiveness, market trends, and buyer preferences, then relay findings to the Inputs Team.
- Work alongside internal teams and agronomists to aid product development projects, market growth strategies, and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare and provide frequent reports on field operations, sales results, and market insights to the Managing Director, emphasizing significant accomplishments, obstacles, and suggestions.
Requirements
- Diploma, HND, or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, marketing, or a business-related discipline from any accredited agricultural institution or university.
- Demonstrated experience in an agricultural firm, ideally in the sales of Agro Inputs.
- Solid understanding of rural marketing.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of establishing a good relationship with farmers and stakeholders.
- Proven capability to operate autonomously, allocate time efficiently, and organize tasks in a high-speed setting.
- Readiness to travel frequently throughout the designated area.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must live in the designated area or Zone.
- The ideal candidate must reside in the Northern Region.
