POSITION: Territory Development Officer
Overview
The Territory Development Officer (TDO) plays a critical part in the company’s sales strategy, working closely with the Sales Manager to promote and sell items.
Duties
- Manage the assigned Distributor(s) to meet monthly targets, and establish a systematic schedule for visiting strategic wholesalers and retailers.
- Ensure distributors sell at the recommended price through all channels of distribution.
- Communicate with distributors and act as a contact between them and the company.
- Promote the sale of firm brands to wholesalers and retailers. Monitoring outbound sales and market share for the territory.
- Identify and recommend strategic activations with high ROI and potential to improve market and value share for the company.
- Monthly and quarterly performance evaluations to regularly assess objective attainment for the distributor and assigned region.
- Create business plans to establish and develop the capacity and capability required for the business to run smoothly.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in business administration is required.
- Certification in Advanced Marketing.
- Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is needed.
- Strong analytical skills are required for this position.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and increasing revenue
- The ability to analyze data and produce actionable insights.
- Flexibility and flexibility to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Showcase problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Location: Accra.
