Role Title: Sales Officer
Job Description
The Sales Support officer will help the Sales Manager keep an eye on all of the company’s sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering questions from customers, setting up meetings and sales appointments, and checking in with customers to let them know how their orders are going.
- Putting together a daily list of sales leads, giving leads to the sales department, and giving the sales department sales data and guides.
- Creating and keeping an eye on sales and staff performance indicators, managing sales tracking tools, and putting together reports.
- Keeping track of sales trends and working with account managers to come up with sales plans.
- Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, handling requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to make sure customers are happy.
- Taking care of customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative reasons, and helping customers with problems with orders, account status, and other issues.
- Doing data entry for sales numbers, metrics, and other relevant information, as well as keeping a filing system that is organized and easy to use.
- Taking care of administrative tasks for the company and its management and executive teams.
- Setting up meetings and conferences with customers.
Telling your bosses about anything strange that happens.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Higher National Diploma (HND)/accredited diploma/A four-year college degree.
- Strong skills in analyzing, organizing, and keeping track of time.
- Excellent skills at working in a team, motivating others, getting along with others, communicating, and helping customers.
- The ability to do many things at once and switch your focus quickly.
- I.T. skills and typing skills are also important.
- An understanding of how to sell and how to treat customers.
